In response to the continually growing interest of Czech companies in co-operation and investments in the Russian Federation and CIS countries the Czech Export Bank, a.s. opened up its representative office in Moscow at the beginning of the year 2008.
The mission of the Representative Office of CEB in the Russian Federation is to support companies during the carrying out of joint Czech-Russian projects on the Russian market under the system of the officialy supported export financing and on the basis of providing export loans and other services connected with exports. Activities of the CEB´s Representative Office consist in creating an environment favourable to the business co-operation of Czech and Russian companies, in creation of financial and organisational mechanisms of co-operation and in the offer of services connected with the financing of exports and direct investments abroad by Czech companies.
Main tasks of the Representative Office of CEB are:
- Co-operation with both Russian and Czech partners and consultancy about ways of financing projects, (Basic Information for Exporters)
- Providing information support for Czech and Russian business partners during the preparation of projects,
- Co-operation with financial institutions of the Russian Federation with the aim of guaranteeing a balanced approach and high quality in the preparation of export credits,
- Collection of data, assessment and analysis of investment offers and of business plans.
The Representative Office is ready to provide assistance for Czech exporters in the preparation of projects and to direct them towards achieving maximum success.
