Graduated (1989) from the University of Economics, Prague, in the field of system engineering. As a former top basketball-player, after graduation, he began his business career working in various positions at the Sparta Praha Sports Club. From 1992 - 93 he was the vice-President for Economics of the Sparta Praha Association. Between 1994 and 2001 he held various positions at Česká spořitelna, a.s. (as a methodologist, as the head of the management department and as custodian of securities; as the senior relationship manager for loans to TOP clients, the senior relationship manager in the field of Trade Finance, the director of syndicated loans, with responsibility also for foreign clients, and of project management for the team responsible for the implementation of the new banking systems for corporate banking). 2001 - 7/2006 he worked at Dresdner Bank CZ/BAWAG Bank in the position of head of the team responsible for structured finance and syndicated loans. Since August 2006, he has been the director of the Export and Structured Financing department of trading at CSOB a.s. He participated as a member of the supervisory boards of ECKG, a.s., Pegas DS, a.s. and Pegas, a.s. (1999-2001), Dresdner Bank CZ, a.s. (2003-2005) and of the BAWAG Bank CZ, a.s. (2005-2006). Currently, he is not a member of a body of any company.
