Born in 1961. Graduated from VSB University of Mining, Ostrava, majoring in economics and management. After his studies he joined Králodvorské železárny (Králův Dvůr Ironwroks) as economist and later chief economist. In 1991 he started to work in Komerční banka in the positions of a credit officer, later as department manager and commercial risk manager. In Komerční banka he was selected for the project: “Comprehensive Training of Young Managers”, which he finished with a final examination in 1995. In 2000 he started his carrier in Konsolidační banka, first as director of the risk management department, later as director of the restructuring department. When Konsolidační banka was transformed into Česká konsolidační agentura (Czech Consolidation Agency) in 2004, he became member of its Board of Directors and CEO. In the Board he was responsible for the management of block transactions, management of subsidiaries, ex-IPB’s offshore activities and financial management. Ing. Petr Goldmann was member of supervisory boards of Ostacolor a.s., Termizo a.s., Škoda Holding a.s., Konpo, s.r.o., Aero Vodochody, a.s., First Czech-Russian Bank, BH Capital, a.s. and Explozia, a.s.
