Česká exportní banka, a.s. (CEB) has received the rating AA- from Standard & Poor’s rating agency. CEB’s credit rating reflects high solvency and ensures access to a broad investor base for the funding of credit activities.
CEB’s greatest strength is that it is directly owned by the state, which guarantees the repayment of borrowed funds and liabilities arising from other operations on financial markets. Other advantages include transparent rules for government support of exports, insurance of export credit risks by EGAP with minimal residual risk, resulting in the good quality of CEB’s assets, high capital adequacy and its long-term financial stability.
